Networking for 11 year olds
Tuesday, 22 December 2009 09:33

I had an interesting conversation with my eleven year old daughter about social networking today. She saw my 'tweetdeck' on my laptop and was fascinated by the columns of information. 'That's LinkedIn, that's Facebook, that's my personal twitter, that's the work twitter, that's the education marketing list I'm following...' And she got it in a second. After all she's grown up seeing us text and email. She doesn't remember letter writing, telephone conversations from landlines... And as I described the process of networking and this great big leaf pattern, I was as excited as she was about the opportunities it presented.  So cool mum... SP

It's all about the difference...

We'll have more to say on the subject but in the meantime, this is an excellent example of finding the 'differentiator' - a restaurant that will sell tickets - with the ticket cost varying depending on which night you book. There will be four menus a year celebrating various great culinary moments in history - or the future - Hong Kong 2036 to be exact.  http://nextrestaurant.com/
